Tyler had his second dentist appointment today. He was so excited about it, which makes me happy that he's not afraid of the dentist. He got back to the chair and the hygentist came out to ask me if I minded if they tried bite wing x-rays today. I told her not at all, as long as he didn't mind. So they were able to get the x-rays done. Pretty soon, I hear him chatting. Chatting so much that I have no idea how they managed to clean his teeth! The lady next to me that was waiting for her daughter says, "wow, he's not afraid at all, is he?". I said, NO! Not at all, he's just like I was (am). LOVES going to the dentist. Well, pretty soon I hear a conversation between the hygentist and Tyler. It goes something like this.
Hygentist: So, Tyler, do you eat a lot of candy, gum or sweets. Tyler: No, I don't eat gum ever. Sometimes I chew it though. Hygentist: Giggle, ok, great! Hygentist: What about soda (aka pop). Tyler: No. My mom won't let me have any. Hygentist: Ok.
It was funny, because she probably thought I set him up to that answer, but he really doesn't drink any pop. If we go somewhere where they serve pop the only thing I'll let him have is Sprite. Otherwise he will have white or chocolate milk. What's even funnier is the thought of ordering milk at a restaurant for me makes me gag--but it's ok for them. Weird.

You and milk....makes me laugh...so does the fact that you and your kids like the dentist. Actually, my dentist really tries to encourage me because my teeth are such a wreck. "Twice in a row...no cavities! Good job, Holly! You can pick out TWO toothbrushes..."
