- American Idol - Wednesday, May 18, 2005 Ok, I have to admit...I've been an AI junkie the past two months. I don't know what it is about this season, but they've got me hooked. Is it Bo Bice? Vonzell Solomen? Carrie Underwood? In the beginning I really liked Vonzell. Even during the Bo vs. Constantine, I still liked Vonzell. She seemed a little dramatic, but genuinely a good singer. Now, that's not to say I didn't like Bo or Constantine, I do, but they also had a certain annoyance factor too. For example, Bo can only sing rock genre songs. Last week he sang Travis Tritt's Great Day to Be Alive and it was TERRIBLE! He screwed up the 2nd line! EEEK! And Constantine's puppy dog look, you know, the one where he shifts his chin down and looks at and upward angle from his eyes. Got on my nerves. So, after that didn't like him too much. Then there's Carrie. I think she's all around good and the more I see her the more I like her. She's just so cute. My only concern with her is she is a little stiff. She doesn't show a lot of enthusiasm. Maybe just because of the songs she sings. So...tonight is the night where one of the three, Carrie, Bo or Vonzell gets voted off. I am ready to see Vonzell go and have Carrie and Bo at the finale. And no, I didn't vote.

I agree with every single thing you wrote. I like Carrie but she needs to quit being so scared and let loose a little.
