- A day in the life of... - Monday, December 20, 2004 This is my first blog and to be quite honest I'm a little (not a lot) intimidated. My best friend told me I should start a blog so she could read it every day (which will really mean only when I post, because it will probably not be every day) to help catch up on my life. I've called this A day in the life of...because of a series of books I ADORED when I was in 4th grade (Elliott Elementary School, Holt Michigan--Mr. Sumner's class). Anyway, they were titled "A Day In The Life Of...", shadowing different professions. I loved each one of them--little did I know I would be a "reality freak". This is going to be about my life as a Victim Resource Adovocate (VRA, for future reference), including calls for service. (The names will be changed to protect the guilty until proven innocent). It will also include some personal stuff, like the adoption of my children, married life and my friends. I'm leaving for Michigan tonight so I won't be posting until the first of the year, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Kelly
